Powerful Life Simulated

Foot Drop, also known as drop foot, is a disability where individuals encounter difficulty in raising the front part of their foot. As a result, they may experience dragging of the front of their foot along the ground while walking, which poses challenges and obstacles in the walking process. Foot drop is not classified as a disease, but rather as a result of various contributing factors. The most prevalent causes of foot drop are stroke, disc problems, multiple sclerosis (MS), accidents, and complications arising from medical surgeries, among other potential factors.

PNIN’s medical cuff uses low energy electrical pulses to raise the foot, effectively addressing the challenge experienced by individuals with foot drop. This method aims to restore a more natural walking gait and improve the overall quality of life for patients, enabling them to walk more naturally and comfortably. PNIN’s mobile app enables communication between physicians and their patients.Doctors can monitor the progress or setbacks of their patients, while patients have the ability to modify simulation settings, monitor battery levels, and track significant lifestyle changes. PNIN’s Artificial Intelligence Model is used to increase the accuracy of simulation in terms of speed, timing, and intensity that results in the most natural walking gait.

<p>Currently our prototype could perform the main function of lifting the foot and we are working on the function of detecting the exact timing and stage of the gait cycle at which the foot should be lifted and for how long. We&#39;ve raised seed funding and won multiple competitions.</p>
