Wastewater from the Car washing station contains several organic compounds and water mineral oil, grease and sand. The wastewater can not release into a typical municipal wastewater network or reuse with its current status. The present disclosure relates to a novel composition for treating wastewater, and more particularly to those compositions used for improving the quality of oily wastewater by reducing the turbidity of such water through the reduction of organic, hydrocarbon, and solid material content. The newly developed filter will be able to improve the quality of wastewater and allows it to be re-used inside the station and save the consumption of water with a very low-cost constructed unit.

It is an object of the present technology to provide a novel composition for improving the quality of oily wastewater thus rendering the process of reclaiming such water easier. The technology provided a method of separating oil content in wastewater comprising passing an amount of oily wastewater through a filter comprising an adequate amount.
